Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor will oversee all activities of the deli/food service department, ensuring sales and customer service goals are met. Responsibilities include directing personnel, scheduling shifts, engaging with customers, managing food safety compliance, and maintaining stock levels. Candidates must have a passion for food, previous management experience, and be able to perform basic math calculations. Physical requirements include being able to lift up to 25lbs, stand for long periods, and work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
Required Qualifications
- Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment preferably in a management role
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-Safe certification preferred
- Desire to learn new products and recipes
- A love of foods and a creative nature
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts
