Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor will oversee all activities in the deli/food service department, ensuring that merchandising, sales, and customer service goals are achieved. Responsibilities include directing department personnel, coaching new team members, and scheduling shifts. The supervisor will engage with customers, take orders, ensure compliance with food safety policies, and maintain stock levels. A minimum of two years of food service management experience is required, along with a high school diploma and the ability to work flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment preferably in a management role
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-Safe certification preferred
- Desire to learn new products and new recipes
- A love of foods and a creative nature
