Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor will lead and manage the deli/food service department, ensuring alignment with merchandising, sales, and customer service goals. Responsibilities include supervising personnel, conducting training and onboarding, scheduling, engaging with customers, managing stock levels, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and overseeing food preparation and presentation. The role requires strong leadership with a minimum of 2 years of management experience in a food environment, a high school diploma, and flexibility to work varied shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment preferably in a management role
- Must have previous food service management experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-Safe certification preferred
- Desire to learn new products and new recipes
- A love of foods and a creative nature
