Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor for Subway is responsible for directing and supervising all activities of the deli/food service department, achieving merchandising and customer service goals, and managing department personnel. Key responsibilities include selecting, onboarding, and coaching team members, scheduling, engaging with customers, ensuring food safety compliance, managing inventory and supplies, and preparing and merchandising deli items. This role requires at least 2 years of food service management experience, flexible availability, and the ability to perform basic math calculations, as well as a strong passion for food and service.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Two years prior experience in a fresh foods environment preferably in a management role
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts and assist other locations as needed
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to add, subtract, divide, multiply, and perform other basic business math calculations
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-Safe certification preferred
- Desire to learn new products and new recipes
- A love of foods and a creative nature
