Job Summary
Be part of UNI's award-winning dining program as a Food Service Supervisor at the Rialto in Towers Center. Direct, supervise, and coordinate the production, distribution, and service of quality menu items; plan and prepare work schedules and daily production assignments; orient, train, assign work, and evaluate student and Merit staff; maintain sanitation and safety standards; determine service-area setup; maintain inventory controls; and respond to inquiries from staff and customers while coordinating with other food service supervisors and managers. Schedule is first shift, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, and involves working within the academic year with potential additional hours in summer. Requires leadership in a busy institutional food service environment with responsibilities for menu changes, training, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent
- two years of directly related food distribution experience
- or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution
