Job Summary
Food Service Supervisor/Shift Manager responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, leading front‐line staff, and ensuring food quality, safety, cleanliness, and customer service meet A&W standards. This hands‐on leadership role involves staff supervision, staffing coordination, cash handling, shift documentation, training and onboarding, inventory and cost control, and maintaining a welcoming restaurant environment while aligning with brand expectations and service recovery standards. Requires FOODSAFE Level 1, minimum 3 years of food service experience, and the ability to work in a fast‐paced, accountable environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent
- FOODSAFE Level 1 required (Level 2 considered an asset)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food service
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, mature, and comfortable working independently
- Shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
