Job Summary
Global Partners is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department. Key responsibilities include managing department personnel, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, scheduling staff, ordering products and supplies, and overseeing food preparation and merchandising. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of experience in a fresh food environment, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Flexibility with shifts and reliable transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Vocational or Technical Education
Additional Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts and assist other locations as needed
