Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor at Global Partners is responsible for directing and supervising activities in the deli and food service department to achieve sales and guest service goals. Responsibilities include team member selection and coaching, scheduling, order management, adherence to food safety guidelines, and merchandise management. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, be at least 18 years old, and have prior experience in a food service environment. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Work in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment, including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts
