Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department, ensuring goals are met in merchandising, sales, and guest service. Key responsibilities include training and scheduling team members, taking guest orders, managing product inventory and safety compliance, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring proper presentation and quality of food items. Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role, and must possess reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Work in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment, including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
