Job Summary
Oversee all activities in the deli and food service department, focusing on achieving merchandising, sales, and guest service goals. Responsibilities include directing personnel, on-boarding and coaching new team members, scheduling, taking guest orders, ensuring compliance with food safety policies, ordering products and supplies, managing food preparation and service, maintaining stock levels, and recording inventory. Requires a minimum of 2 years in a relevant managerial role and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role
- Reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Work in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment, including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries
Desired Qualifications
