Job Summary
Direct and supervise all activities in the deli and food service department to achieve merchandising, sales, and guest service goals. Responsibilities include selecting and coaching new team members, scheduling staff, ensuring guest satisfaction with services and products, and maintaining food safety and sanitation guidelines. Requires handling of various food items, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining clean work areas. Experience in a managerial role within a fresh food’s environment is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts and assist other locations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
