Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department, ensuring team members meet departmental goals. Responsibilities include coaching new team members, scheduling, taking guest orders, maintaining food safety standards, managing inventory, and overseeing food preparation. The role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of food safety regulations, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in a managerial role.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment.
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts.
- Reliable transportation and active driver's license.
