Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising activities in the deli and food service department. This role includes managing personnel, achieving sales goals, scheduling team members, ensuring customer satisfaction, and following food safety guidelines. The supervisor will handle product ordering, oversee food preparation, maintain inventory, and process transactions. Additional tasks involve fostering a clean and safe work environment and performing other management duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in a managerial role
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Experience in a fresh foods environment
- Manage deli and food service items
