Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department to achieve merchandising, sales, and guest service goals. This role includes selecting, onboarding, and coaching team members, scheduling personnel, ensuring food safety and sanitation compliance, and maintaining stock levels. The supervisor will oversee the preparation and merchandising of food items, manage product inventory, process cash transactions, and ensure cleanliness of work areas. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, and be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role
