Job Summary
As a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead at Global Partners, you will direct and supervise deli and food service activities, ensuring department goals and objectives are met. Responsibilities include selecting and onboarding new team members, maintaining food safety guidelines, managing inventory, and overseeing the preparation and merchandising of deli items. You will also assist in cash register transactions and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the food service areas. The role requires at least 2 years of prior experience in a food environment, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to handle physical tasks involved in food service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in a managerial role
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Work in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist
- Frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Vocational or Technical Education
Additional Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts
