Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor oversees all activities in the deli and food service department, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines, managing staff schedules, and maintaining adequate stock levels. Responsibilities include training new team members, taking guest orders, managing inventory, and ensuring quality control and merchandising standards are met. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Vocational or Technical Education
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility to work weekend, holiday and/or evening shifts and assist other locations as needed
