Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor at Global Partners is responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department to meet sales and guest service goals. Responsibilities include selecting, onboarding, and coaching team members, scheduling, maintaining stock levels, ensuring food safety, and overseeing the preparation and merchandising of food items. Candidates need a high school diploma, at least 2 years of experience in a fresh foods environment, and must be at least 18 years old. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, work in walk-in coolers, stand for long periods, and use kitchen equipment is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Work in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies, as well as reaching above shoulder height
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment, including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries
