Job Summary
The Food Service Supervisor at Global Partners directs and supervises activities in the deli and food service department to meet sales and guest service goals. Responsibilities include selecting, onboarding, and coaching new team members, scheduling staff, ensuring food safety compliance, managing product ordering and inventory, preparing and merchandising food items, and maintaining cleanliness in the department. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant experience in a fresh food environment, and the ability to lift items and work various shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Work in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist
- Frequently lift and maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Reach above shoulder height
- Dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- 2 years prior experience in a fresh food environment preferably in a managerial role
