Job Summary
Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures, safe cash-handling, and coordinating staff activities. Assign stations, manage breaks, and ensure proper staffing levels while maintaining compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Lead front-line staff, support training and coaching, and address operational or guest concerns professionally. Maintain a clean environment, ensure consistent customer service, and assist with inventory counts, waste monitoring, and basic cost control. Complete shift documentation and reporting accurately. This hands-on leadership role requires minimum 3 years of food service experience, FOODSAFE Level 1 certification, and legal authorization to work in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food service
- FOODSAFE Level 1 required
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous lead, senior crew, or supervisory experience preferred
- FOODSAFE Level 2 considered an asset
