Job Summary
Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts by supervising staff, managing breaks, and handling opening/closing procedures. Lead front-line employees, coordinate station assignments, and ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace standards. Address guest concerns professionally, maintain a clean environment, and support training for new hires. Complete shift documentation, assist with inventory counts, and monitor cash-handling procedures. Work 32-40 hours per week in a fast-paced setting involving standing, walking, and occasional lifting of 14 kgs. Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food service
- FOODSAFE Level 1 required
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous lead, senior crew, or supervisory experience preferred
- FOODSAFE Level 2 considered an asset
