Job Summary
Part-time Food Service Specialist at Pioneer Human Services prepares and serves pre-made meals for residents and staff in Pioneer residential programs, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety regulations. Responsible for checking in deliveries, storing food properly, maintaining a clean kitchen and food storage areas, serving portions according to the menu, preparing meals, managing temperature tracking, and documenting food service activities. Collaborates with staff and community partners to promote a pro-social program climate and may contribute ideas to improve operational policies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, valid WA driver’s license, valid food handlers card, and ability to read/write English; one year of cooking experience and residential facility experience are preferred. Emphasizes teamwork, professional communication, safety, sanitation, and adherence to program policies.
