Job Summary
Assist in food preparation, safety, and quality assurance for students while operating POS systems and serving large groups. Perform daily cafeteria duties including cutting produce, following recipes, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and loading/unloading food products weekly. Monitor student behavior during meal periods, encourage participation in meal programs, and ensure accurate meal counts and schedule adherence. Maintain clean equipment and spaces, reporting malfunctions to the manager. Requires locally-recognized food safety certification and ability to lift up to 30 pounds solo. Full-time on-site role with hourly compensation ranging from $14.38 to $16.54.
Required Qualifications
- 1 + years work experience in a job that demonstrates the ability to handle physical activity for multiple hours on feet
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds via solo lift and up to 50 pounds with a partner
- Ability to bend, pull, push, twist, stand, and walk while on duty or during a work shift
- Ability to obtain locally-recognized manager food safety certification
