Job Summary
Shift Leader in Food Service responsible for delivering excellent customer service, leading by example, and driving department performance. Key duties include staff training and development, merchandising via plan-o-grams, inventory management to avoid stockouts, maintaining sanitation and safety standards, enforcing policies, coordinating with the Food Service Manager, and ensuring timely completion of department paperwork. Must lead by example to enhance customer experience, support managers, and contribute to overall profitability with a customer-first approach.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- 1-2 years’ experience in Food Service Department operations
- Ability to lead, train, and develop staff
- Strong customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage inventory and merchandising plans
- Proficiency in maintaining sanitation and safety standards
