Food Service Shift Leader

Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times while leading by example to set standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and professional appearance. Generate a positive working environment by encouraging associates to greet customers and providing prompt, efficient service. Assist the Food Service Manager in running all department operations, including merchandising fresh products, enforcing marketing plans, and ordering merchandise to maintain consistent inventory. Provide associates with training and development in required skills, complete department paperwork adhering to Model Store standards, and inspect product rotation on the Electronic Short Date List. Maintain a clean and safe department using sanitation schedules, enforce all local and federal regulations, and ensure production sheets are completed prior to shift end. Attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to time and attendance policies while covering breaks for other associates.
