Job Summary
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and brokers within food service sectors, including National Chains, Institutional Accounts, Manufacturers, and Regional Chain restaurants. Secure new business through distribution and promotional activities while preparing and analyzing sales reports to assess opportunities. Participate in regional and national trade show events to drive sales growth and penetrate the assigned market area with new and existing products. Work independently with frequent travel to designated markets, covering 60% of the time, to deliver annual sales objectives. Requires a BA/BS degree, 3-5 years of regional food service management experience, and the ability to travel extensively.
Required Qualifications
- Currently reside in the Georgia/Carolina markets
- BA/BS from accredited university or culinary institution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of regional management food service experience to major distributors, regional chains, and multi-unit operators along with single unit restaurants
- Initiative-taking self-starter with an energetic and optimistic attitude towards working independently and confidently
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Computer literacy with MS Office
- Self Motivated with high ethical standards
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel 60% of time and attend trade events spanning multiple days
