Job Summary
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and brokers within food service sectors of national chains, institutional accounts, manufacturers, and regional restaurants. Secure new business via new distribution and promotional activity while analyzing sales reports to assess opportunities. Participate in regional and national trade show events to penetrate the assigned market area with new and existing products. Ensure profitable sales growth through strategic execution against sales goals while working independently from home with frequent travel to designated markets.
Required Qualifications
- Currently reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth/Austin markets
- BA/BS from accredited university or culinary institution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of regional management food service experience to major distributors, regional chains, and multi-unit operators along with single unit restaurants
- Initiative-taking self-starter with an energetic and optimistic attitude towards working independently and confidently
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Computer literacy with MS Office
- Self Motivated with high ethical standards
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel 60% of time and attend trade events spanning multiple days
