Job Summary
Present and sell food and beverage products while preparing food as directed and performing all sanitation duties. Operate the beverage cart on the golf course to provide sales to patrons, stocking and managing inventory as needed. Demonstrate District customer service standards by addressing complaints and resolving concerns with professionalism. Drive the cart safely on and off the course, assist related staff with assigned duties, and work special events and tournaments. Requires BASSET, Food Handler's, and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications within specified months, with ages of 21 at Naperbrook or 18 at Springbrook. Involves lifting up to 30 lbs daily and modified schedules during high volume.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of, or the ability to obtain, Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training (BASSET) certification within three (3) months of hire
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Illinois Food Handler's Certification within one (1) month of hire
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, First Aid, CPR, and AED certification within two (2) months of hire
- Must be at least 21 years old at Naperbrook
- Must be at least 18 years old at Springbrook
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing ≤ 30 lbs on a daily basis
- Regular onsite attendance
