Job Summary
Prepare and serve meals to students according to USDA guidelines while assisting in daily kitchen equipment cleaning and dish sterilization. Maintain health and safety standards and demonstrate organization and professionalism when interacting with staff, students, parents, and the community. Remain flexible to perform any assigned Food Service tasks and attend required state professional development hours. Work in indoor and fluctuating temperature environments including kitchens and cafeterias, frequently standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Background Check
- Must attend the required number of hours each year of professional development set by the state
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus
