Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
• •Ability to follow both oral and written directions/instructions

• •Tasks require the ability to exert strenuous effort in work requiring moderate to heavy physical activity
• •The employee is frequently required to move about and is continuously required to stand
• •The employee must spend most of their shift on their feet
• •The employee will frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk while performing the duties of the job
• •The employee will frequently reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch
• •The employee continuously uses hand strength to grasp tools
• •The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• •Handling of other heavy items of increased weight may be required
• •Cleaning the cafeteria sometimes involves folding and unfolding the cafeteria tables
• •Most tasks require visual perception and discrimination and the ability to distinguish color
• •The employee must be able to input information into a computer
• •The employee must be able to read material from a computer monitor as well as printed matter with or without visual aids

• •One (1) year past experience in school cafeteria and/or food service preferred
• •Reliable and consistent
• •Hardworking and energetic
• •ServSafe certification, preferred
• •High School/Trade School degree preferred
