Job Summary
Operate all Food Service Areas including Made to Order, Commissary, Bakery, and Dispensed Beverages while supervising shifts and managing inventory levels. Respond to customer complaints, enforce company protocols, and train new and current employees on service practices. Greet every customer with a sincere greeting, suggest purchases, and promote specials to maximize sales. Ensure site safety by minimizing risks, enforcing environmental regulations, and promptly reporting workplace accidents or hazards. Conduct regular inspections for environmental and hazardous material compliance, document incidents, and initiate corrective action for unsafe conditions. Maintain proper inventory for goods, utensils, and cleaning products while operating assigned equipment safely. Complete new employee safety orientations and promote a quick return to work for injured staff.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or similar role in food service
- Proven customer service experience, with track record for problem solving
- Proficient food and beverage knowledge
- Computer literate
- Strong motivational and people skills
- Working knowledge of food service and coffee equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot minor problems
- Must be able to lift to 35 pounds at times
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the store
- Prolonged periods of standing
