Job Summary
Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting patrons, learning names, and assisting with product retrieval or heavy item loading. Review daily production lists, assign tasks, and ensure food display cases are rotated and replenished. Scan kitchen areas for cleanliness, safety, and repair needs while assigning tasks to staff. Oversee food quality, presentation, and inventory across Chinese, Italian, and Restaurant departments. Plan menus, estimate costs, supervise portion control, and enforce sanitary practices and health regulations. Direct hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel. Analyze sales trends, prepare ad projections, and write advertisements. Investigate complaints concerning food quality and service, and resolve issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience
- One year of similar or related experience
- Must possess excellent Hospitality skills
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems; variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions
- Ability to do arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Must have the ability to file, post, and mail materials
- Must have the ability to copy data from one record to another
- Must have the ability to interview to obtain basic information
- Must have the ability to guide people and provide basic direction
- Must be able to physically perform medium work
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to exert 20 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10 pounds of force constantly
