Food Service Leader

Job Summary

Enforce recipes, procedures, and sanitation requirements while overseeing food service operations and equipment maintenance. Manage product ordering, implement new food programs and promotions, and ensure all team members follow health and hygiene protocols. Assist in preparing work schedules to guarantee proper station coverage and lead training and development for all food service staff. Maintain organization of storage areas including walk-in refrigerators and freezers. Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Food safety certification (or the successful completion of High's food safety certification within 2 months of hire)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Flexible to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as needed by the business
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must meet or exceed the training and certification requirements of the shift leader including, but not limited to, Equipment training certification, Leadership training, Food safety (S.U.R.E.) certification, and all other food service excellence modules and classroom certifications
  • Must be available during the highest volume food service shifts/times in order to receive and rotate foodservice deliveries and organize crucial duties to staff members

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
