Job Summary
Kitchen Helper/Server at Mountain View Elementary serves and assists with the preparation and distribution of food for students and staff, maintains sanitary kitchen conditions, follows sanitation and food safety standards, assists with supervision of student meal service to ensure regulatory requirements are met, assists with inventory and receiving deliveries, and supports various duties assigned by the Head Cook and Principal. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and preferred two years of food preparation experience; must obtain or possess a Food Handler’s Card and have computer familiarity. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of food preparation experience preferred
- Food Handler’s Card or ability to obtain
- Knowledge of State Health Food Regulations preferred
- Experience with the use of a computer
- Ability to work with students, staff, parents, and community members
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Punctuality and attendance requirements
