Job Summary
Kitchen Helper/Server assists with the preparation and distribution of school meals for students and staff; ensures sanitation and compliance with health regulations; handles inventory, deliveries, and supervision of meal service to ensure timely meals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of food preparation experience preferred
- Must possess current Food Handler’s Card or have the ability to obtain required
- Knowledge of State Health Food Regulations preferred
- Experience with the use of a computer
- Ability to work successfully with students, staff, parents, and community members
- Ability to follow oral and written directions and adapt to changing situations
- Maintains an attitude of flexibility when dealing with teammates, students and building staff
- Ability to meet and maintain punctuality and attendance expectations
