Job Summary
Support restaurant prep for both back-of-house and line operations while meeting daily quickservice, safety, and quality standards. Set proper food quantities, maintain safe food handling, and ensure proper uniform, hygiene, and glove use. Participate in safety logs covering temperatures, rotation, and waste, and assist with dishwashing as necessary. Actively respond to guest feedback, report issues to supervisors, and communicate daily service or quality concerns to the Restaurant Supervisor or Food Operations Manager. Remain knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, and specials to share with guests. Perform other tasks as assigned, including handling boxes up to 35lbs, and uphold company policies. Work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized
- Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Food handling license preferred
- 1-2 years food preparation
