Job Summary
Cafeteria worker in Hazleton Area School District serving Drums Elementary/Middle School (4.5 hours). Responsible for food preparation, service, sanitation, HACCP compliance, and daily kitchen operations. Tasks include following recipes and production methods, stocking and organizing kitchen spaces, completing production and waste/discard records, operating the POS system, assisting with student balance reminders, and supporting special functions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate with safety and sanitation standards, and adhere to PDE/USDA/PA Department of Health guidelines. Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills are required; clearance requirements and standard school-district procedures apply.
