Job Summary
Director of Food Service to lead growth and integration of Yen Bros Food Service with Islands West Produce, owning the commercial strategy and leading the sales organization. Drive revenue growth through existing customer expansion and new market penetration, align pricing strategies and go-to-market approaches across both businesses, and ensure a seamless customer experience during integration. Lead and develop Sales Managers and the Food Service sales team, establish KPIs and reporting structures, and expand share of wallet with key accounts through cross-selling and value-added solutions. Identify geographic expansion opportunities, monitor market trends and customer needs, and represent the company within the Food Service community while coordinating with operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Food Service distribution or a related industry
- Proven track record of driving profitable sales growth and building high-performing teams across multi-site operations
- Strong understanding of broadline distribution, pricing strategy, and customer segmentation
- Experience leading through integration, transformation, or significant change is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
