Job Summary
Manage daily food service operations to ensure timely, nutritious meal preparation and delivery for residents, staff, and visitors. Supervise, train, and motivate dietary staff while developing menus that align with nutritional needs and dietary guidelines. Oversee inventory, ordering, and budgeting to maintain cost efficiency, and ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and state/federal regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to accommodate special dietary requirements. This role requires a Certified Dietary Manager with at least three years of experience in food service management, preferably within healthcare or long-term care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management
- preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of nutrition and dietary guidelines in a healthcare setting
