Job Summary
Schedule and assign staff, prepare department payroll, and manage new hire paperwork while overseeing dining operations within established budgetary guidelines. Order supplies, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and supervise dietary staff to maintain food safety and sanitation standards across kitchen, storage, and dining areas. Conduct training and evaluations to enforce adherence to regulatory requirements and survey inspection processes. Requires ServSafe certification (provided if needed), 2-3 years in long-term care or healthcare food service, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Meal Tracker. Required Qualifications
- Nursing Home, Senior Living, Hospital, or Healthcare Required!
- Current ServSafe certification or we will provide upon hire
- Minimum 2-3 years managing the food service department in long term care facility, hospital, or healthcare setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of large scale and therapeutic food preparation
- Solid leadership and supervisory skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, Outlook Email, Microsoft Office, Meal Tracker, OnCare, and Meal Tracker
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Food Manager preferred
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification a plus
