Job Summary
Deliver meals from the kitchen to residents in nursing care units and manage cleanup duties. Assist cooks with food preparation and kitchen cleanup tasks, while handling dishwashing, equipment maintenance, and dining room upkeep. Unload stock and perform related duties as assigned in a fast-paced environment requiring long periods of standing. This role supports the nursing department to promote a great dining experience for residents in our skilled nursing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Genuine interest in working with patients and food service as related to total patient care
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work independently and well as a team player
