Job Summary
Support restaurant prep for both back-of-house and line operations while meeting daily quickservice, safety, and quality standards. Set proper food quantities, maintain safe handling protocols, and ensure compliance with all SSAFETY rules including temperature logs and waste rotation. Execute assigned prep lists, assist with dishwashing, and respond to guest feedback by reporting potential issues to supervisors. Remain knowledgeable of menu items and prices to share with guests, while maintaining a clean, organized work environment and upholding company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized
- Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Food handling license preferred
- 1-2 years food preparation
