Job Summary
Food Service Cook responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality items in a quick-service setting. Follow standard recipes, operate kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, ovens, slicers), maintain portion control, and ensure food safety and sanitation. Provide friendly customer service, handle orders accurately, assist with inventory and stock rotation (FIFO), and complete end-of-shift cleaning and organization. Collaboration with kitchen staff and training new team members. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior kitchen/food service experience; food handler's certification is a plus. Part-time position with flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings; starting pay at $15.50/hour with weekly pay. Location: Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen/food service experience
- Food handler's certification or ability to obtain one (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability including mornings/afternoons/evenings
