Job Summary
Seasonal/variable-hour Food Service team member at City Museum. Responsibilities include providing great customer service, setting up workstations, preparing and assembling menu items to specification, stocking areas with supplies, checking quality, maintaining workstation cleanliness, closing shifts (breaking down equipment, restocking, cleaning), handling payments (credit cards, vouchers, correct change/receipts), and following City Museum policies. Must be able to work with hot kitchen equipment (fryers, grills, stove tops, ovens), stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work weekends/evenings/holidays. Ideal candidates are team players who are self-motivated, enthusiastic, able to work quickly under pressure, and able to learn and follow proper food handling procedures. Must have or be able to obtain Hep A vaccination per health department requirements; Food Handler's Safety Card/certification; 18+ years old. Location is St. Louis, MO onsite at City Museum.
