Job Summary
The Food Service Associate is responsible for daily deli and food service operations, ensuring sanitation and guest service. Duties include processing cash register transactions, operating scales, and managing deli ingredients. Responsibilities extend to preparing and cooking food items, handling guest orders, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and displaying products. Candidates need a High School Diploma or Equivalent, 2 years of foodservice or retail management experience, valid transportation, and must be at least 16 years old. Flexibility for weekends and evening shifts is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment (including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries)
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Vocational or Technical Education
