Job Summary
Food City is seeking a Food Service Associate to provide efficient, courteous customer service and to support operations by preparing and serving food, making sandwiches, assisting with the hot bar, slicing meats and cheese, taking telephone orders, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation. The role involves stocking and rotating products, following the Food Safety program, and cross-training across multiple areas to deliver a customer-first experience with teamwork and a positive, friendly environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Food Service experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
