The Food Service Associate is responsible for daily operations of the deli and food service, ensuring sanitation, store appearance, and guest service. Duties include processing cash register transactions, using various equipment for deli ingredients, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, and preparing food items like sandwiches and salads. Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be at least 16 years old, and possess 2 years of food service or retail management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend and twist, and frequently lift merchandise
- Dexterity with hands to use knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Vocational or Technical Education
