Job Summary
The Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk is responsible for daily operations of the deli and food service, ensuring sanitation, store appearance, and guest service. Tasks include processing cash register transactions, preparing deli products, managing food safety practices, and ensuring customer satisfaction by taking orders accurately. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have a minimum of two years in foodservice or retail management, and show ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 16 years old
- 2 years foodservice or retail management
- Reliable transportation and active driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand for long periods, bend and twist
- Serv-safe certification preferred
