Job Summary
The Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk manages deli and food service operations, ensuring high sanitation standards, customer service, and store appearance. Responsibilities include processing transactions, using equipment like scales and cash registers, preparing and cooking various food items, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean workspace. Candidates must be able to work flexibly, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have 2 years of foodservice or retail management experience, and be at least 16 years old.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment, including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
