Job Summary
The Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk is responsible for managing daily operations of the deli and food service, ensuring sanitation, store appearance, and guest service. Responsibilities include processing cash register transactions, using deli ingredients for preparation and cooking, monitoring product pricing, and keeping clean workspaces. Must be flexible to work various shifts, possess 2 years of foodservice or retail management experience, and have reliable transportation. Standing for long periods and lifting items are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Stand for long periods of time
- Bend and twist below waist
- Frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Reaching above shoulder height
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers, and rotisseries
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
