Job Summary
The Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk is responsible for daily operations in the deli, ensuring sanitation and guest service. Responsibilities include processing cash transactions, using register and scales, and monitoring product pricing and signage. The role involves preparing and cooking various food items, maintaining cleanliness, and fulfilling guest orders on time. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, be at least 16 years old, and have 2 years of foodservice or retail management experience. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reliable transportation are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old
- Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management
- Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license
- Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies
- Be dexterous enough with hands and fingers to use necessary equipment, including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries
Desired Qualifications
- Serv-safe certification preferred
- Vocational or Technical Education
